VH1’s SINGLE LADIES gets The Axe! Show Cancelled After 3 Seasons

So sad indeed that VH1 has decided not to give us a season 4 of “Single Ladies”  It doesn’t really come as much of a shock since I couldn’t get into the show this season for some reason.  Something was missing, and apparently VH1 thought so as well.  Here’s a statement released from VH1:

“We’ve been proud to deliver three seasons of the drama, romance and style that engaged viewers in each episode of Single Ladies,” VH1 said in a statement to Deadline. “Although we’ve decided not to move forward with another season, we hope to work again with the talented cast, creatives and producers as well as our partners at Flavor Unit Entertainment in the near future. We also thank the show’s fans for their support since the premiere in 2011.”

Comedic drama series Single Ladies started off as a movie before becoming VH1′s first hourlong scripted series. Its success opened the door to Hit The Floor, which became a breakout hit in its launch last summer, and drama Hindsight, which was just picked up to series. There were bumps on the road. Shortly after VH1 renewed Single Ladies for a third season in August 2012, creator/executive producer Stacy A. Littlejohn exited the project. Season 3 didn’t launch until this January, a year and a half after it was ordered. Still, Single Ladies is leaving on a high note. Its third season opener drew 2.6 million viewers. For the premiere airing and its same night encore combined, Single Ladies grew each seasons:, posting 2.9 for the season premiere, 3.2 million for the Season 2 opener and 3.5 million for Season 3. Also cancelled is VH1′s sketch comedy series Stevie TVstarring Stevie Ryan. It ran for two seasons, ending its run in July 2013.

Hey, it happens!  Guess these “Single Ladies” will be on the job hunt searching for a new project.

CHRIS BROWN is BI-POLAR

Published March 1, 2014 by sheezacoldpiece

That’s right! This is the face of Bi-Polar. Chris recently completed his 90 day stay in rehab only to exit with a diagnosis of BiPolar disorder, which may explain his drug abuse and other abusive behavior. Here’s the scoop according to TMZ:

Chris Brown has been diagnosed with bipolar disorder, severe insomnia and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder … and that’s why he has had such anger issues … this according to new court docs.

Chris was in court today for a progress hearing in the Rihanna beating case. Documents were filed by the facility where Chris just completed 90 days of anger management therapy. In fact, Chris stayed longer, just completing 95 days.

In the legal docs — obtained by TMZ — an official from the rehab facility wrote that … in addition to his diagnosis … Chris was self-medicating inappropriately.

The facility writes, “Mr. Brown became aggressive and acted out physically due to his untreated mental health disorder, severe sleep deprivation, inappropriate self-medicating and untreated PTSD.” They never explain the cause of the PTSD. The letter also says Chris was diagnosed with Bipolar II.

The letter says Chris is on meds for the bipolar and other conditions.

Chris has learned various relaxation exercises, according to the letter, and he’s tested negative for drugs, including weed, during his stay.

You are not alone Chris. You have joined the club of many my friend. With that said, now you may legally take your meds and I pray you stay out of trouble.

DA BRAT ORDERED TO PAY 6.4 MILLION TO VICTIM SHE HIT IN THE CLUB

Well well, Da Brat was ordered to pay the cheerleader she assaulted in the club 6.4 million dollars today. Here’s the scoop according to the AJC:

-The Atlanta Journal-Constitution

Atlanta rapper Da Brat was ordered to pay $6.4 million to the woman she attacked with a rum bottle, a Cobb County jury ruled Thursday afternoon.

Da Brat, whose real name is Shawntae Harris, served nearly three years in prison for the 2007 attack against Shayla Stevens, a former Atlanta Falcons cheerleader and waitress. Stevens later filed a civil suit against Harris, and that trial concluded Thursday with the verdict. Harris was ordered to pay $3.7 million in compensatory damages and an additional $2.7 million in punitive damages.

So ummmm next time you think you wanna bust a bottle over someone’s head, it may be best to just relax and walk away, orrrrr you can give them a hefty pay day instead. *shrugs*

Spike Lee Goes on a Rant about Gentrification in NYC!

Published February 27, 2014 by sheezacoldpiece

Spike Lee, famed director and film maker is no fan of gentrification taking place in NYC. During a discussion that recently took place at Platt University, the renowned film maker spared no expletives sharing his view on what’s taking place in NYC, calling gentrification a “scam”. For those who don’t know what gentrification is, it’s when the demographic of a particular neighborhood/area is changed and redesigned to favor the wealthy, thus driving out the poor by increasing many things such as rents, home prices (values), etc.

Listen to Spike discuss and cuss about it here:

Yoooooo…last night was crazy! Met Michael Blackson in NorthHollywood at his “Welcome to LA” event. The function was somewhat of a mixer celebrating his relocating to Los Angeles along with a preview of his upcoming comedic film called “KONY MONTANA”. To sum it up, he’s the African version of the infamous Scarface “Tony Montana”. It was pretty hilarious to say the least. Instead of being a drug kingpin, his obsession with a woman’s huge round backside Fat ass lead him to focus on being the kingpin of Assshots aka the booty injections women are getting these days.

It’s definitely a must see if you love comedy and great raw humor. Check out his site for the release info and to view the trailer at http://www.michaelblackson.com Here’s a pic of me with him at the event:

RIDE OR DIE?!? IS TYGA PUTTIN HANDS ON BLAC CHYNA?!?

Word in streets is Tyga has some of that Ike Turner blood running through his veins. Apparently he’s beating on this poor girl, and she’s choosing to keep quite about the abuse to maintain her “family” and lavish lifestyle. Blac Chyna released a statement via twitter denying any abuse:

20140224-232444.jpg

Hmmmm…it’s interesting she’s not explaining exactly what happened to her eye, which leads me to believe something in the milk ain’t clean. Popular blog Bossip.com reported back November that Tyga described his relationship with Blac Chyna as a “gangsta” type situation. I just hope this isn’t true, and if it is….gurrrrl Chyna you betta beat the skinny outta Tyga’s ass and run for the hills chile!

It’s an all black, Allstar cast and a psychological thriller! What more do I really need to add here?!? It’s been a long time coming and it’s great to see this group of talent taking on a different genre of film. I will definitely be seeing this film on Friday, and will give you the review afterwards. Here’s a brief synopsis of the film along with the trailer:

An earnest life-coach/author, Thomas Carter, is mysteriously abducted by a deranged client, Angel Sanchez, who delves into Thomas’ teachings and uses his spiritual messages of Karma – action and reaction (Vipaka), against him to terrorize him and his family for their past sins.

Seems like a good one, check it out on Friday folks!

It’s a WRAP! Robin Thicke and Paula Patton are No More!

Published February 24, 2014 by sheezacoldpiece

Yes! You heard that right. After 8 years of marriage and 20 years overall the two have decided to part ways. I know there will be a list of eligible bachelors and bachelorettes ready to jump in line to get with these two very hot items! Here’s what their publicist told People Magazine:

“We will always love each other and be best friends, however, we have mutually decided to separate at this time,” the couple told People in a statement.

Robin and Paula met nearly 22 years ago and have been married since 2005. They are the parents to one son named Julian who was born in April 2010.

There have been rumors swirling about the couple’s marriage every since his racy video for “Blurred Lines” was released and then his scandalous performance with Miley Cyrus at the VMAs last year, but they persevered through those times together.

Robin and Paula were last seen together attending the 2014 Grammy Awards a few weeks ago.

Whoooaaa buddy! Who’s up next….?
