FORMER NFL PLAYER RAY LEWIS ON BLAST FOR MAKING UNINFORMED STATEMENTS AGAINST BLACK LIVES MATTER

Published April 7, 2016 by sheezacoldpiece

Ray Lewis has a book coming out and needs the PR exposure. This privileged, elite athlete beat his manslaughter charges and is trying to find his lost mind after doing a deal with the system…All that preacher hollering without talking about the causes (defunding of education, lack of jobs, the new jim crow/mass incarceration, CIA began drug trafficking crack cocain in our Black communities – Reagan Iran Contra – Freeway Rick Ross), depression and lack of hope). Name a community with high employment, opportunities and credit scores over 700 with a high crime rate? I’ll wait.
What about white on white murders? You don’t here about it because it doesn’t fit the propaganda narrative that our community is different than all other ethnic groups. Each ethnic group is more likely to be killed by someone of the same group. Also, Chicago’s corrupt Police Department has been killing and torturing false confessions from Black and Brown innocent citizens for decades with impunity. What percentage of deaths are attributed to criminal cops? It hurts to see anyone killed no matter what ethnic group. The solution is jobs, opportunities, community policing, local voting to control City Council and supporting businesses in the community.

His preacher mimicked sermon set many off on Twitter, here’s some of the comments:

GLOBAL RACISM – BRAZILIAN COUPLE DENIED THE RIGHT TO GIVE THEIR DAUGHTER AN AFRICAN NAME…

Published March 30, 2016 by sheezacoldpiece

When you can’t even name your child giving honor to your African roots due to racism, it makes you lose hope for humanity.

With just one week of life, little Makeda is already facing the first fight of her life: having a civil registry. The name Makeda Foluke means Grandiose that is at the care of God, but even so, the girl, who was born on the 16th in the Casa de Parto David Capistrano Filho (House of Labor David Capistrano Filho, in Realengo, in the West Zone of Rio, still can’t be placed on her birth certificate. All because the registration office of the 2nd district of São João de Meriti, in the Baixada Fluminense region, understood, according to the girl’s parents, that the name would cause embarrassment for the child in the future. Makeda’s family believed they were the victim of racism.
“It’s a form of racism that takes place in Brazil: the racism of subtleties. It should be very natural a man and a black woman adopting an African name, as the country is made up of three races. It is difficult to prove. Only those in this skin is knows,” lamented the child’s father, Cizinho Afreeka, 44.
Cizinho, which is a public servant and is depending on the registration to have a maternity leave, also said that he and his wife, the Physical Education teacher Jéssica Juliana, 27, thought about the issue of name pronunciation before choosing it:
“It’s not a name phonetically alien to Portuguese, we thought about it. There are African names that change the pronunciation and cause greater estrangement.”
Makeda was what the Ethiopians called the rainha de Sabá (Queen of Sheba). Foluke is a Yoruba name. The girl’s name was decided early in the pregnancy.

“We decided together quite in early in the pregnancy and we came to call her Makeda. Family and friends already speak naturally because we were inserting this. What’s the problem with naming her Makeda if they register so many European names,” asked Jéssica.
Cizinho came to speak to a civil registration official, Luiz Fernando, by telephone, but a petition was necessary so the name could be analyzed:
“He said he thought the name was beautiful. They already knew that the name was African. They searched the internet before giving a negative. I made a petition and took a statement from my wife authorizing, but it was denied. The notary suggested I put a name in Portuguese in front. But I will keep on until the end. Either it will be Makeda Foluke or she’ll be with no registration.
“The procedure is necessary with any name that can be used to leave the child in a vexatious situation or bullying. You have to filter. These procedures are normal, no one refused to do the registration,” said Luiz Fernando. “It is not the name, not the meaning. It’s pronunciation, diction. Racism is really in people’s minds,” he finalized.
According to the Internal Affairs Division of the Court of Rio, the registration office submitted to the judge in charge a procedure of doubt. The prosecutor’s office issued an opinion against the use of the name because they considered it likely to cause future problems for the child, suggesting that a pre-name be added to the other names such as Ana Maria Makeda, for example. If the judge does not authorize, it will be up to the party to appeal the decision in the procedure in the proper registry office that will forwarded to the Council of the Magistracy.
Parents want their daughter to be named Makeda
Also according to internal affairs, “when pronouncing the name in Portuguese it makes no sense at all, except for coming out wrong, which could provide possible future suffering for the person in social life.” The criterion used is “the analysis of the magistrate and the Ministério Público (public prosecutors) who act to protect the child. Law 6.015/73 gives that power to avoid registrations with names that may affect the social life.”
Read the response of internal affairs in full:
“The prosecutor’s office issued an opinion against the use of the name because they considered it likely to cause future problems for the child, suggesting a pre-name was added to the other names…such as Ana Maria Makeda or something like this.
If the judge does not authorize, it will be up to the party to appeal the decision in the procedure in the proper registry office that will be forward to the Council of the Magistracy.
When you pronounce the name in Portuguese it makes no sense at all, except for coming out wrong, which could provide possible future suffering for the person in social life.
The criterion is the analysis of the magistrate and prosecutors who act to protect the child. Law 6.015/ 73 gives this power to avoid registrations with names that may affect the social life. The criteria are the social and historical phonetics of Portuguese, verifying the sense that the name may have to be spoken or read, must meet in these criteria elements that can classify it as vexatious. Thus are considered vexatious historical names of bloodthirsty dictators or persecuted characters or execrated over time, the objectification of the name or the phonetic pronunciation, which seems to be the case, because it will not make any sense to those who do not know its origin and its translation, favoring acts as “bullying” or discrimination. Several cases where the lack of care of the registers and deeper analysis produced cases that later forced people to go to court to change the first names are notorious due to the embarrassment caused in childhood. One of the most famous was that of the daughters of Baby and Pepeu (1).
The request is being examined by the responsible judge, but it is an analysis at the administrative level that provides for its consideration on appeal to the Judicial Council through a specific procedure.”

This is what happens when GOVERMENT has too much control.  I ask if a European name has ever been challenged like in this case.  It’s blatant inexcusable racism.  The country has a deep history of racist disparate treatment of its black citizens.  I pray this couple prevails, and despite the decision, call their daughter by the name they want her to have.

JOE’S CRAB SHACK DISPLAYS PUBLIC LYNCHING OF 2 BLACK MEN AS PLACEMATS

Published March 11, 2016 by sheezacoldpiece

A Roseville restaurant “Joe’s Crab Shack” is under fire for an image found on a dining table depicting a hanging.

The Minneapolis NAACP says Tyrone Williams and Chauntyll Allen were preparing to dine at Joe’s Crab Shack Wednesday night when they noticed a photo embedded inside the table top. The image appears to show a large group of white people watching a public execution of at least one black person.

On the bottom of the picture, it reads: “Hanging at Groesbeck, Texas on April 12th 1895.” At the top, the caption reads, “All I said was that I didn’t like the gumbo.”

Williams said the pair immediately waved down a manager. “Although the manager was apologetic about the lynching depiction, that does not change the fact that this sickening image of black men being lynched was intentionally embedded inside of a table. This type of blatant racism should not be tolerated in this country, or in our local and national eating establishments. I have felt sick to my stomach and stressed out since seeing that image on the table where I was planning to eat my food,” said Williams.

“Seeing a picture of two black men being lynched was the last thing that I expected to see at what was supposed to be a family-friendly restaurant. As you can imagine, seeing that image ruined my appetite and my pre-birthday dinner. It is hard to believe that this type of racism is still going on in 2016,” Allen added.

“This disturbing incident that occurred at Joe’s Crab Shack, demonstrates that racism is still alive and well in this country. It is sickening to know that someone would make a mockery of black men being savagely lynched and then use that imagery for decorative purposes in a restaurant,” said Nekima Levy-Pounds, President of the Minneapolis NAACP.

The Minneapolis NAACP is demanding an immediate public apology by the corporate offices of Joe’s Crabshack; immediate removal “of any and all lynching or otherwise racially-offensive imagery” from its restaurants; and a donation to a local community-based organization that serves African American youths and teenagers.

When contacted about the incident, a spokesman for Joe’s Crab Shack released a statement.

understand one of the photos used in our table décor at our Joe’s Crab Shack location in Roseville, MN was offensive,” said David Catalano, COO Ignite Restaurant Group, Joe’s Crab Shack parent company. “We take this matter very seriously, and the photo in question was immediately removed. We sincerely apologize to our guests who were disturbed by the image and we look forward to continuing to serve the Roseville community.”

The city of Roseville issued its own statement Friday, calling on the restaurant chain to make sure this type of imagery is not displayed anywhere else.

The City of Roseville was shocked and saddened to learn of the racist imagery being openly displayed at the Roseville location of national restaurant chain Joe’s Crab Shack. The City condemns this type of display in the strongest possible terms and calls on Joe’s Crab Shack to remove any and all racist imagery not only from its Roseville location, but all of its restaurants nationwide immediately. This type of display is wholly unacceptable and unwelcome in the City of Roseville.

I’m fairly confident that patrons at any family restaurant in America would never sit down to eat to see Jews lining up entering a gas chamber, or any image depicting the holicaust as a placemat.  It further proves the disgusting racist history this country has, and the subtle reminders of it everywhere.  It’s no surprise Donald Trump is making campaign strides with his hate messages, and massive support from white supremacist.

Black people have yet to be paid reparations like the Jews or Japanese, and we are the only still – very disparaged group of people who continue to struggle against hate, Jim Crow laws, racist legislature and more, when slaves built much of this country and made it what it is today.  Fought side by side for freedom, while many of us were murdered – literally millions – displaced from families – stripped of culture and language, with not even a decent apology.  I’m truly disgusted as a human whenever I’m reminded by incidents such as this. Smh.

I will NEVER patronize another Joe’s Crab Shack establishment.

YOUNG BLACK TEEN PUSHED, SHOVED, AND TAUNTED OUT OF DONALD TRUMP RALLY BY WHITE SUPREMACIST

Published March 2, 2016 by sheezacoldpiece

On Monday, 30 black students attending a Donald Trump rally at Valdosta State University in rural Georgia were forcefully ejected — simply for being black.
On Tuesday, in Louisville, Ky., what happened to young black protesters at another Trump rally wasn’t just racist — it appears to be outright criminal.

While we have already widely reported that white supremacists are openly proclaiming that they are fully emboldened and energized by Trump, the natural progression of their romance with Trump is now on full display.

While Trump was giving his typical campaign speech about making America great again, several different predominantly black groups of protesters, who were simply there to hold up signs, began having those signs snatched and getting cursed by the white Trump supporters surrounding them.

We now know that those Trump supporters are open bigots, Neo-Nazis, and white supremacists belonging to many different groups including the Traditionalist Worker Party — a well-documented hate group. Their social media profiles are full of Nazi photos, KKK and white supremacist references, and some of the most insulting, despicable hate speech you’ll ever see.

One of their leaders, Matthew Heimbach, tweeted that youth workers from the Traditionalist Worker Party were responsible for snatching the signs.

It is believed that Heimbach, one of the best known youth leaders of modern white supremacy and Neo-Nazism in the country, may be the man who can be seen in the red “Make America Great Again hat” who repeatedly shoved, pushed and screamed profanities at the teenage girl in the video. He has actually been banned from entering the United Kingdom because of his bigotry.

Before the rally began, he was seen by another protester wearing the same Traditionalist Worker Party T-shirt and eyeglasses he was seen with while assaulting the young girl. Heimbach can also be seen wearing the same shirt and glasses in photos throughout his social media profiles.

In fact, men and women can been seen wearing those T-shirts throughout the rally. For them, it appears, a Trump rally is a white power rally.
When I first saw the short 37-second news clip of this young girl being forcefully pushed and shoved by large grown men, my blood began to boil. In my lifetime, I have never seen grown men, many who at first appeared to be complete strangers, violently shove a young girl around like that. Some seem to just be pushing her for fun to the left and to the right, just because it’s what other people were doing.

While it all goes down, the hate for her is visible in the eyes not just of the adult men who repeatedly shove her, but in the surrounding women who look on. Nobody, not a single soul, offers to help protect her or escort her out in a way that is remotely safe.
Nobody, though, was as violent and flagrant as the man in the Trump campaign hat with the white supremacist T-shirt. As he yells in the young girls face, and appears to attempt to stab her with a pen of some sort, he pushes and shoves her repeatedly.

n—– and a c–t and got kicked out,” said Shiya Nwanguma, a respected student at the University of Louisville to a local interviewerin a video posted on Facebook.
“They were pushing and shoving at me, cursing at me, yelling at me, called me every name in the book. They were disgusting and dangerous.”

If this was a mob of black men harassing a young white female teenager, it would be all over prime time news.  This is a clear reminder of where we are as a Country, and the amount of hate and bigotry that still exists.  It’s sickening.

THREE PEOPLE STABBED AT A KKK RALLY TODAY IN ANAHEIM CA…

Published February 27, 2016 by sheezacoldpiece

Today in 2016, a KKK rally took place.  Three people were stabbed, including one who was critically wounded, and 13 were arrested when a Ku Klux Klan rally in Anaheim erupted in violence Saturday, police said.

A group of people representing the Klan had announced that it would hold a rally at Pearson Park at 1:30 p.m., police said. By 11 a.m., several dozen protesters showed up at the park to confront the Klan.

About an hour later, several men in black garb with Confederate flag patches arrived and were escorted by police around the edge of the park.

Violence erupted and some of the protesters could be seen kicking a man whose shirt read “Grand Dragon.” At some point, a protester collapsed on the ground bleeding, crying that he had been stabbed.

A Klansman in handcuffs could be heard telling a police officer that he “stabbed in self-defense.” Several other people were also handcuffed.

Witnesses said the Klansmen used the point of a flagpole as a weapon while fighting with protesters.
Two other people were stabbed during the melee, said Sgt. Daron Wyatt of the Anaheim Police Department. One of those was a protester but the identity of the other victim was not clear.

Two Klansmen and three protesters were arrested following the fracas.

Kobe Sato, 18, of Anaheim said a crowd swarmed the KKK members when they arrived at the park and began to display Confederate flags.
Brian Levin, director of CSU San Bernardino’s Center for the Study of Hate and Extremism, said he was standing next to the man in the Grand Dragon shirt when a crowd of protesters carrying weapons swarmed the Klansmen.

A brawl broke out and one of the Klansmen was knocked to the ground and kicked. Levin said he later saw the man’s arm bleeding.

Levin said he pushed the Klan leader away as the violence continued and a protester was stabbed.
Levin said he asked the man, “How do you feel that a Jewish guy just saved your life?”
“Thank you,” the man replied, according to Levin.
A large crowd gathered at the park, with many demanding to know why Anaheim police did not have a larger presence at the scene before the violence broke out.
Levin was also critical of the lack of police presence prior to the melee.
“There were no police officers here when this started happening,” Levin said.
The Klan has a long and troubling history with the city. Klansmen were once the dominant political force in Anaheim, holding four of five City Council seats before a recall effort led to their ouster in 1924.

At the height of the group’s power in Orange County, nearly 300 Klansmen lived in Anaheim, patrolling city streets in robes and masks. A large KKK rally once attracted 20,000 people to the city.

KKK activity nationwide has decreased dramatically in recent decades, according to the Southern Poverty Law Center, which estimated the group has between 5,000 and 8,000 members across the country.

The group’s activities have been sporadic in Southern California in recent years. Last summer, at least 100 residents of Whittier and Fullerton awoke to find packets containing KKK fliers, rife with racist rhetoric, and candy in their driveways. A Santa Ana neighborhood was also blanketed with KKK fliers on Martin Luther King Jr. Day last year, police said.
An eight-foot cross was burned outside the home of a black man in Anaheim Hills in 2003, and the FBI investigated the case as a hate crime, but police did not specifically link that case to the KKK.

Source
Now this took place today, white supremacist in a historic hate group, not the black panther party, but KKK members rally and resort to violence, yet the FBI has no interest in shutting them down, and they actually receive police protection to spew and spread their hatred.  Clear case of white privilege.  As much as many love to remain in denial, white supremacy and racism is alive and thriving daily.  What’s the solution to this?  They have the law on their side, but, what do we have????

BLACK COPS IN MEMPHIS FACE DEMOTION FOR SPEAKING UP AGAINST RACISM….

Published February 23, 2016 by sheezacoldpiece

The Memphis, Tennessee Police Department is threatening to demote dozens of African American police officers simply because they are standing up to racism in the department. Officials with the Memphis police say that African American cops would be forced to pay back money they earned after receiving promotions if they don’t back down from their claims against the department.
The Memphis Police Department has had a decades-long history of being criticized for their racism and discriminatory practices against African Americans in and off the police force. In recent decades, African American officers have claimed that they were deliberately passed up for promotions when they had been on the job longer, and had better records than some of the people who they were passed over for.
We have found records of such allegations, documented as far back as 1979. But by the early 2000s, a lawsuit against the department seemed to put a dent in the unwritten racist policies of the southern department.
A number of African American officers sued the department and won. They claimed that police officials used racially discriminatory tests in order to determine who would be promoted.
The African American officers challenged the test in 2006, which resulted in a district court ruling that the new test was in violation of Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, making it illegal for any employer to discriminate against employees based on race… That includes police departments.
After that decision, we started to finally see some African American cops promoted, but many still were not. Last fall, however, a federal appeals court over turned the lower court’s decision.
Officers are still able to continue the legal battle on appeal, but the city has said that if they do, they should be prepared for immediate demotion and suit for back pay. All of the money they have earned in their positions above the rate of an average beat cop would be required for repayment to the department if they continue to appeal to the U.S. Supreme Court.
Nearly 30 of the 62 plaintiffs are facing these threats.
“The city wants to give an ultimatum: If you all continue on, we’re going to demote you back to patrolman,” Lt. Tyrone Currie, the treasurer of the Afro American Police Association Memphis branch said in an interview with the Huffington Post. “You should not retaliate against people just because they’re exercising their constitutional right to an appeal.”
Legal expert Samuel Bagenstos, a law professor at Pennsylvania State University, was shocked by the threats, saying it “doesn’t seem like the right result,”
Bagenstos said that the city is “interpreting what the court has said as giving them the authority to do what they want to do.”

This is outright blatant discrimination and a violation of civil rights.  These officers should brach off into their own police force by getting citizens to vote them in to a certain jurisdiction.  Not sure if it’s possible, but I think it’s worth a shot.

OHIO COPS KILL BLACK MAN WITH FAKE GUN – HOURS AFTER SPARING WHITE MAN FOR THE SAMETHING…

Published February 19, 2016 by sheezacoldpiece

Two Cincinnati-area men experienced dramatically different outcomes when they allegedly reached for fake guns this week during encounters with police.
Cincinnati police officers shot and killed 37-year-old Paul Gaston after he crashed his pickup about 5 p.m. Wednesday into a utility pole in the city’s Cheviot neighborhood, where 911 callers had reported an apparently intoxicated man waving a gun.

He exited the car, stumbled out, dropped the gun, picked up the gun and took off,” a 911 caller reported.
Witnesses said Gaston appeared to be disoriented when he got out of the crashed truck, and police ordered him to lie down on the pavement when they arrived shortly after the crash.
Video recorded by bystanders shows Gaston on his knees with his hands in the air as officers surround him with their guns drawn.
He lay down for a moment but rose up to his knees, and officers fired nine shots when they said he reached for a weapon that turned out to be an airsoft pellet gun.
Gaston was killed when he was struck by police gunfire.
About 18 hours earlier and less than 10 miles away, Mt. Healthy police encountered another man who pointed an airsoft pellet gun at them during a confrontation.

Officers were called about 11:30 p.m. Tuesday to a home to investigate an assault, and they said 26-year-old Christopher Laugle picked up a realistic-looking weapon from a coffee table inside the home and pointed it at the officers.
Police said the officers showed great restraint and did not shoot Laugle, who authorities said was taken into custody after a brief struggle.

The officers did not realize the gun was fake until after Laugle was arrested, according to the police report.
Laugle was charged with menacing and was jailed on $2,000 bond.
Gaston, the slain suspect, was black, and Laugle, who was arrested, is white.
The incidents involved two different police departments, but took place in Ohio — an open-carry state where a black man and black boy holding airsoft pellet guns were also killed during recent encounters with police.
No officers were charged in the 2014 shooting deaths of John Crawford III near Dayton or Tamir Rice in Cleveland.
Airsoft guns fire plastic balls that are larger and lighter than metal ball bearings fired by BB guns.

A clear cut example of white privileges, and why th black lives matter movement exists.  We hear “don’t break the law, and you won’t get shot” well obviously that’s false for black people in this country.  We have been minimized to target practice for police, and when we speak up and out against injustice, we are labeled as “Anti-Police”.  When will it end?!?

NEIGHBORHOOD OUTRAGED OVER CONFEDERATE FLAG DISPLAY WITH BLACK DOLL HUNG FROM A NOOSE…

East Huntingdon Township, Pennsylvania. The problem: A Confederate flag display with a black baby doll hanging from a noose with a knife in its back.
Rachel Szolek was driving through West Overton Village when she saw the racially offensive display on a fence near on someone’s property.
“We actually turned around because we had passed the house,” Szolek told Pittsburgh’s Action News 4. “And there it was, and the first thing was shock.”
-An Open Letter to Confederate Flag Defenders: Racism is Real-
Szolek took a photo of the display with her cell phone and posted the image to Facebook.
Action News 4 reporter Beau Berman got wind of the story and tracked down East Huntingdon Township’s supervisor Paul Hodgkiss.
-Quentin Tarantino: Confederate Flag is the ‘American Swastika’-
Hodgkiss said that he was “definitely against anything like that in our township.”
Officials in a nearby community admitted that they have been hearing about the display for months but could not do anything about it because the area was outside their jurisdiction.

The display was eventually taken down minutes after Berman knocked on the homeowner’s door to ask questions.

RETIRED L.A. SHERIFF LEE BACA TO PLEAD GUILTY TO PERJURY DURING FBI INVESTIGATION

Published February 10, 2016 by sheezacoldpiece

Corruption lies and scandal is no stranger to the L.A.P.D.  Retired Los Angeles County Sheriff Lee Baca will plead guilty in a downtown courtroom Wednesday to making false statements, marking a dramatic turn in the ongoing federal investigation into corruption in the Sheriff’s Department.
According to a charging document filed by federal prosecutors on Wednesday morning, Baca lied twice about his involvement in hiding an inmate from FBI agents who were investigating brutality and corruption by sheriff’s deputies in the county jails.

Baca also lied when he said he was unaware that his subordinates planned to approach an FBI special agent at her home, the document said.

Baca’s attorney, Michael Zweibeck, said his client has agreed to plead guilty to a single count as part of a deal with prosecutors under which he will spend no more than six months in prison and possibly no time at all.

The U.S. attorney’s office has agreed not pursue other charges against the former sheriff, and a federal judge must sign off on the deal, Zweibeck said.

Baca appeared in court Wednesday morning for an arraignment on the felony charge. Wearing a brown suit with a sheriff’s star on the lapel, Baca said little at the hearing other than to answer questions from the judge.

“You know what the government is claiming you did in this case?” U.S. Magistrate Judge Patrick J. Walsh asked.

“Yes,” Baca responded.

After the hearing, Baca referred media queries to his attorney.

“He definitely feels bad,” Zweibeck said about his client. Asked what Baca specifically feels badly about, the attorney said: “He feels bad about a lot of things.”

Zweibeck said that federal sentencing guidelines specify up to six months in prison for making a false statement, but that Baca could also be sentenced to probation and not serve any time behind bars.
“He is ready for whatever outcome is deemed appropriate by the court,” Zweibeck said.
Zweibeck said negotiations with prosecutors began in earnest five days ago, when it became clear that they were prepared to charge Baca.
“It’s time to put this behind him,” Zweibeck said. Baca “doesn’t want the men and women of the Sheriff’s Department to be under this cloud.”
Baca is expected to appear in another courtroom Wednesday afternoon to enter his plea.
Baca, who ran the department for more than 15 years, retired in 2014 amid an FBI probe into misconduct and abuse by deputies in the county’s jail system. So far, more than a dozen former sheriff’s officials have been convicted as a result of the wide-ranging investigation, which began more than five years ago.

No surprise here since the L.A.P.D. has a very long history of corruption and scandal which usually gets swept under the rug.  As usual they get a slap on the wrist, and go back to there merry lives to enjoy their hefty pensions.  Justice is rarely properly served when law enforcement is involved.

BEYONCÉ HAS CREATED CONTROVERSY WITH HER SUPERBOWL PERFORMANCE AND NEW SONG “FORMATION”

Published February 8, 2016 by sheezacoldpiece

Ooooooh Queen Bey got them folks UPSET!  People are calling for boycotts of Beyoncé and the SuperBowl for allowing her to perform her new song “Formation”.   The video has many subliminal messages which pertain to black issues in America.

Sadly, some people just can’t handle the truth, or a black woman who is proud of her heritage.  They refuse to be tolerant of a person who speaks up against injustices happening to minorities, even if it’s a subliminal message in a video.

For Chicago Code Blue among others to suggest that this is “Anti-Police Music” is beyond reaching.  A simple message saying “Stop shooting us” written on a wall, or a drowning police car referencing Hurricane Katrina, does not translate into Anti-Police.  People choose to turn this into something negative to avoid to true message of injustice that needs to be addressed.

I thank Beyoncé for her bravery with this self directed video.  Speaking up for Your people, and against injustice takes guts.  I really think Solange is starting to rub off on the Queen Bey…lol.  We need more of this from the affluent African American in America.

Watch the full video below…
