Coming this September, super woman aka June Ambrose will be debuting her new line on HSN. June is thee stylist to the stars and will finally be able to dress the public with looks from her own book. Sad news indeed. Just last month Rachel (Damon Dash babies mother) debuted her Fall 2014 collection, which marked the 10th year anniversary of her Rachel Roy designer line. The Jones Group, who currently owns 50% in the business is being sold to Sycamore Partners who had decided the collection “didn’t fit in” with the direction of the Jones Group line up.
Rachel’s line was currently being sold by retailers such as Neiman Marcus, Bloomingdales and Saks Fifth Avenue. Rachel is in the process of looking for another investor to keep her line going and will attempt to finance the project on her own until she finds one.
I wish Rachel the best, and I like her line so I hope she does find an investor fast to keep her in stores.
