BET/CENTRIC TV has picked up the recently cancelled VH1 show “Single Ladies” on their network. The show known for it’s scripted drama and fly fashions will be back for season 4. No word on if there will be any changes to the cast, but I’m certainly excited to see it was picked up. So “Single Ladies” fans you’re in luck, so be sure to stay tuned in for the new season. Developing….
On March 28th Top Model winner and actress Eva Marcille obtained a restraining order against her singer/song writer boyfriend, and father of her child Kevin McCall. Apparently these two were in a heated argument involving their two month old daughter, Marley Rae, when things got ugly. Kevin chased her around their home kicking down 4 doors, and threatened to punch her in the face.
Well after that fiasco, restraining order and all Eva posted the picture above on Instagram April 4th with the caption “Family First” which leads one to believe they have worked things out for the better.
I know one thing, a man kicking down 4 doors in his own damn house with a two month old present has some anger management issues he needs to deal with. I wish these two the best moving forward.

As many of you know singer Tamar Braxton is very married to song writer, record producer and music executive Vincent Herbert. The two even have a reality show titled “Tamar & Vince” he’s her teddy bear and she’s his Monday and Friday. Damn Trick! You slippin n sliding alright! Trick Daddy of Slip n Slide records was arrested recently after Florida authorities found a gram of that narcotic (cocaine) and a 9mm pistol in his home. The Broward county drug task force entered his home on a “sniff warrant” from tips received claiming it was a grow house for marijuana.
The 40 year old rapper admitted to having weed and a small amount of cocaine, but assured authorities his home was no grow house. Trick was booked on two counts of possession of a firearm and ammunition by a convicted felon, and possession of cocaine along with driving on a suspended license. He made bail this morning posting 6,100.00.

Fortunately, the effort and long hours were clearly worth it, as it was the star’s most successful to date. Before she had even finished her run, it came in at number 2 on Pollstar’s year-end Top 20 Worldwide Tours list, grossing $188.6 million from the first 107 shows, and was also the most lucrative female tour of 2013.
Unfortunately, the drama wasn’t just reserved for the stage. It was recently reported that two former fans of the singer are suing her. Raquel Castellanos and Gabriella Davidson are claiming they got trampled at one of the star’s concerts. The women had purchased general admission tickets for a show at the United Center in Chicago last December, court documents obtained by CBS’ local affiliate in Chicago reveal. Castellanos and Davidson claim they arrived to the venue a few hours early and got spots standing close to the stage.
The suit states: ‘As the hours passed, the group became larger, more dense and more anxious about how, when and where the gate(s) would be released and where ticket holders and fans were supposed to enter The United Centre – none of which was explained.’
Outside of the law suit, Jay and Bey have reached their 6th year of marriage and I’m sure will do something special to celebrate the end of her tour and their anniversary as well. Congrats to these two.
A jury found the 38-year-old, whose real name is Adidja Palmer, guilty of the death of an associate in March.
Clive ‘Lizard’ Williams was killed after being asked to Kartel’s home to discuss two missing illegal hand guns.
Vybz Kartel is one of Jamaica’s biggest music stars with hits including Clarks, Ramping Shop and Summer Time.
His success led to him launching lines of shoes, alcohol and condoms.
The singer also became the first dancehall artist to star in his own reality TV show, Teacha’s Pet.
Vybz Kartel was previously arrested in 2011 on drug charges.
They were later dropped, but an investigation by Jamaica’s Major Investigation Taskforce (MIT) discovered illegal firearms during a search of his house.
Police also charged him with being involved in the deaths of two men from the Portmore district of the island.
One murder case was dropped due to lack of evidence, however the musician and three other men went on trial for the killing of Clive ‘Lizard’ Williams.
The trial lasted 65 days and was the longest court case in the history of the Caribbean island, having started last November.
A key piece of evidence was a text message said to be sent from Kartel’s phone.
It claimed Clive ‘Lizard’ Williams had been chopped up into so many pieces his body would never be found.
Vybz Kartel’s career has never been short on controversy.
Over the years, his skin tone appeared to become lighter but the rapper always denied using skin bleaching chemicals.
Kartel instead claimed his change in complexion was due excessive time spent in air conditioned environments.
However, he has admitted to using Cake Soap – a Jamaican detergent that contains bleach.
