I’m convinced that Erykah Badu has mystical magical powers.  She has an undeniable aura that sucks you in like a magnet.  If you ask any of her three children’s fathers, they all may be inclined to say the same.  Here she is with The D.O.C. – well known for his work with super group N.W.A., with their beautiful daughter Puma.  The D.O.C is a hip hop staple as one of the founding members and writers of N.W.A. material, having worked on the legendary Dr. Dre “The Chronic” album – and putting out 2 solo albums, any real rap head knows his work.  

After a bad car accident that crushed his vocal cords, it took nearly 7 years before he would record again, and after rehabilitation and surgery, he’s regained full use of his voice.  He’s currently working on an album yo be released and possibly a biopic.

Outside of that,  he speaks of Erykah being one of his best friends.  In a recent interview with VLAD TV titled “How Three Legendary MC’s co-parent with Erykah Badu” He’s actively involved in his daughter’s life…even though he lives in L.A.  and Erykah resides in Georgia.  

  
  
Erykah has a daughter (Mars) with the acclaimed Jay Electronica, and also a son (Seven) with Andre 3000 of Outkast.  

D.O.C. says they all get along well, and he’s good friends with both Jay and Dre.  I’m sure Ms. Badu has some voodoo in her brew some way some how with all this harmony. I’m kidding, but it seriously makes one go hmmmmmmmm….lol.

I think it’s awesome the way her blended family works, and I nothing but love and respect for her as a mother, and as a artist.  She’s the definition of DOPE.
